Made in England, or Roman to his friends, is a perfect example of the Gypsy Vanner breed at five years old and standing 14hh and still a bit to grow. He has a sweet pony head, lots of feather, correct conformation and a kind temperament much boasted of by the Gypsy Vanner breed. Roman came to be part of our family at the age of two, we never really had to educate him as this boy is so laid back he takes it all in his stride. From the first time we put a saddle on with a young rider on top, rode him out in heavy traffic, took him into our house. Nothing fazes him. Having said all of the above Roman is still a boy and loves the girls. Like all boys he gets exited when they flutter their eye lashes at him but he is gentleman enough to respect his handler at all times.

We are told he is of Lottery Horse lines and looking at the very famous Lottery Horse they seem to have some very identical markings. ( yet to be proven via DNA ) Roman has foals on the ground so is a proven sire. He produced a fabulous foal for us marked just like him with a pony head and feather.

Roman would be ideal for the first time stallion owner who also wants a pet for the family to enjoy. He is easy to handle. We have had novice riders on him. ( supervised ) We often climb on him as he is grazing just for fun as he is an all round good guy. Roman has had no real schooling. We just ride him and enjoy. For the last three years he has been our Roman, a gentle fun horse for all the family to have fun with. He has not been driven but I am sure he would be ideal for this .
