Chloe is a lovely and very special Gypsy Vanner mare. Her sire is the tall and personable Dream Maker, one of the most exquisite stallions we have ever bought and half brother to The Lion King. The Lion King was one of the most well known and respected Gypsy horse stallions both in this country and abroad known for his excellent conformation and profuse feathering. She is registered with the Gypsy Vanner Horse Society registration #GV1304F1. She is confirmed in foal to Sundance Kid. A note from Doug about Chloe, I go out to the barn every night with my two "sleep in the bed dogs" named girlfriend and surfside. The main reason for this is to make sure we don't wake up with unexpected dog cookies in the sheets. We feed apples and carrots to as many happy equine campers as possible. While in this pattern, there is one horse talking up a storm. Not a stallion, but in fact a mare. Her name is Chloe. I loved her two parents, Dreammaker and Coco Channel. She is better than the two of them together for sure. She wants me to come in and love on her. She puts her head on my shoulder and just breathes this funny sound of contentment, and she has a special scent to her I can't describe that is addicting. I know people think I am crazy, but it is true. She is a doll! I think her and Sundance will make one wonderful baby! Doug Kneis-May 2010 |
